Full description
An elegant journey through history, landscape, and tradition.

Travel from Madrid to the heart of Castile and León to discover Ribera del Duero, one of Spain’s most prestigious and historically significant wine regions. This full-day experience blends cultural heritage, rural charm, and refined wine knowledge, offering a deep understanding of the land and the people who have shaped it over centuries.

Departing from central Madrid in a comfortable vehicle, we cross the vast Castilian plains while your guide shares stories, historical context, and local curiosities that reveal how this region has been shaped by wine, trade, and tradition.
In Ribera del Duero, you will visit beautiful historic towns, admire rolling vineyard landscapes, and learn how soil, altitude, and climate create wines of remarkable depth and character. This experience focuses not only on wine, but on the cultural identity that surrounds it.

Optional vineyard and winery experience (Recommended add-on)
Guests may enhance their journey with an optional visit to selected vineyards and boutique wineries, including a modern and thoughtfully designed winery. Here, you will enjoy a tasting of three wines, learn to identify aromas and flavors, and gain basic insights into food and wine pairing.
Depending on the season, the visit may include a walk through the vineyards, explanations of vineyard management, and during harvest time, an introduction to the ancient tradition of la vendimia.

Participants who choose this option will also visit a family-owned winery with a unique character, exploring fermentation and aging processes, as well as underground cellars, followed by a guided tasting.
After the visits, enjoy free time for lunch or explore the village castle and its historic surroundings, before returning to Madrid surrounded by the calm and authenticity of rural Castile and León.

Important clarification
The base experience (€129) includes a cultural and historical guided tour of Ribera del Duero, scenic stops, and in-depth explanations of the region’s wine heritage.
